    FleetOwner’s August 2007 “Fuel: Diesel and Beyond” cover story has been named the 2008 gold winner for best single article in the B2B Transportation/Travel category in the prestigious awards competition conducted annually by the publication Folio:.

    According to Folio:, which covers the magazine publishing field, its “Eddie” editorial and “Ozzie” design awards recognize excellence in magazine editorial and design. The organizers noted this year's competition drew more than 2,800 entries and more than 100 expert judges spent weeks evaluating the entries and selecting the winners.

    “Fuel: Diesel and Beyond” was also recognized this year by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) with a gold national Azbee Award for Editorial Excellence. In addition, ASBPE presented executive editor David Cullen with the group’s annual Stephen Barr Award for Feature Writing for his work on this piece, to which every FleetOwner editor contributed as well.
