Montgomery to lead Stemco’s fleet information business

Bob Montgomery has been named vice president for Stemco’s Fleet Information Systems. He will be responsible for marketing, sales, research and development, and product engineering activities at the company’s BAT RF business unit

Bob Montgomery has been named vice president for Stemco’s Fleet Information Systems. He will be responsible for marketing, sales, research and development, and product engineering activities at the company’s BAT RF business unit.

Stemco BAT RF offers automated wireless data products and services for heavy duty trucks and trailers, including tire pressure monitoring, mileage collection and asset tracking.

“Appointing a dedicated, experienced leader for the Stemco Fleet Information Systems Group will serve us well as we focus on growth in the fleet information systems category,” said Jon Cox, Stemco president. “Bob has extensive industry experience and his leadership will be a key factor in strengthening our product mix as well as expanding our geographic reach.”

Previously, Montgomery headed marketing and product management for GE Asset Intelligence, and held commercial vehicle information system roles at Minorplanet USA and AT&T Wireless Services.
