Western Star Truck Sales, Inc. has announced that its limited-edition 2011 Western Star calendar is now available. Customers can pick up the 20” x 31” calendar at select Western Star dealers.

The 2011 calendar features the work of illustrator Jeff Foster. Each of his 12 original illustrations shows trucks at work in a manner reminiscent of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) murals and other artwork from the 1930s.

The OEM also noted they highlight the looks and rugged nature of Western Star vehicles in settings from across the U.S. to Canada and Australia.

“The 1930s represent a time of hard work and resiliency, and these illustrations showcase Western Star trucks in that light,” said Mike Jackson, gm of Western Star. “From on-highway to extreme vocational, Western Star is built to tackle the toughest jobs in the world, and our 2011 calendar captures just that.”
