Position Logic has acquired GPS Core Technologies, a mobile connectivity technology company based in Springfield, IL.

GPS develops tracking solutions for smartphones and location-based service products. Position Logic will offer the newly integrated mobile solution, PL Mobile, as an additional service to its existing clients.

“By integrating the GPS Core Technology network into our already exceptional solution set we are offering service providers global connectivity at its very finest,” said Position Logic CEO Felix Lluberes. “Position Logic can now extend its software platform to mobile devices worldwide and expand our [location-based] services, irrespective of location and hardware.”

Position Logic is also acquiring GPS Core Technologies’ network of existing SP clients and its eCommerce portal with the acquisition.
