Hours-of-Service rule to get public airing

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold a public “listening session” on its proposed Hours-of-Service (HOS) rulemaking. The session will take place on Feb. 17th in Arlington, VA, at the Crowne Plaza Washington National Airport, 1480 Crystal Drive

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold a public “listening session” on its proposed Hours-of-Service (HOS) rulemaking. The session will take place on Feb. 17th in Arlington, VA, at the Crowne Plaza Washington National Airport, 1480 Crystal Drive.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and include a live webcast.

FMCSA officials will take online comments and questions from noon to midnight EST.

To view the webcast, log onto www.fmcsa.dot.gov. Questions can be submitted through that web page.

Nearly 1,100 comments have already been filed with FMCSA over the proposed rule.
