    Marangoni Tread North America (MTNA) has named Marge Connors to the newly created position of manager of marketing & communications-North America

    Marangoni Tread North America (MTNA) has named Marge Connors to the newly created position of manager of marketing & communications-North America. Connors has been with the company since 2000 and will be based in Madison, TN.

    According to MTNA, the new position was created to handle increased growth initiatives in the North American market. Connors will spearhead new strategies for the Ringtread dealer network and a new communication plan.

    The company also announced the creation of a fourth sales region. Doug Edwardson will head the newly created Central region and Don Hunkeapillar will run the Southeast Region, replacing Connors.

    Edwardson, a former executive at Bandag, has over 25 years of experience in the tire and retreading industry in the U.S. and Canada. Hunkeapillar, who has 20 years of experience in tire and retreading, comes to Marangoni from T.C.I, where he was region manager in charge of six commercial stores and two retread plants.
