Starting as a service trainee in 1977, David D. Renz, vp-sales and marketing for Eaton Corp.’s Vehicle Group, will retire on Nov. 30 after 32 years with Eaton.

Renz began his career with the Transmission Division in Kalamazoo, MI. From there, he moved up the ladder with Eaton, holding positions as regional manager, general sales manager and marketing manager for Truck Components Americas. In 1997, he was appointed director-sales and marketing for North and South America, South Africa and Asia.

In 1999, Renz’s career took another turn when he was promoted to vp-global sales and marketing for the Truck Business. He was named to his current position earlier this year as part of the Truck Group’s merger with the Automotive business into the Vehicle Group.
