Vision Logistics, the Lafayette, LA-based transportation services provider, has made several executive appointments to bolster its staff.

Kurt Antkiewicz has joined the company as senior vice president of sales and marketing. He will be joined by Brian Hogan as vice president of network development. Both men will play major roles in the growth of Vision, the company said.

“We’re happy to have Kurt and Brian joining our team as we drive to increase our company’s capacity for sustained revenue growth,” said Tom Perdue, CEO. “Kurt is a strong and well-rounded commercial leader with proven strengths in the areas of marketing, sales and pricing. Brian has years of proven leadership within the freight transportation industry and will work to expand Vision’s network and services.”

Also coming onboard is Cheryl Pieper as chief information officer. Pieper previously worked at Waste Management and has more than 13 years of information technology experience.

“Cheryl has extensive experience in all facets of information technology leadership, and her work has delivered solid results,” said Perdue. “We’re excited to have Cheryl on our team, and we know her expertise will help us achieve Vision’s goals.”

Antkiewicz joins Vision from Interstate Distributor Co. and has also served in key growth roles at CRST. Hogan was an executive at NYK Logistics, overseeing the flatbed division, reverse logistics and LTL services.
