Predestination Transportation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wood Fruitticher Food Service, will be installing Xata Corp.’s XataNet fleet management software in its 100-truck fleet, according to the system developer.

Wood Fruitticher distributes food and other restaurant-related goods to customers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, southern South Carolina and eastern Louisiana.

The company plans to monitor vehicle location and driver behavior with the solution to help streamline its regulatory compliance procedures.

"As a company, we're known for using state-of-the art technology to help us run our business and provide the best service possible to our customers," said Richard Toya, director of Transportation, Wood Fruitticher. "With XataNet's Fleet Performance Management technology in place, we will have the business and fleet operations reporting we need to ensure the safest and most efficient operations possible. We look forward to working with Xata to take our fleet performance to the next level."
