    EBE’s two-day virtual web user conference, eConnect, focusing on an array of classes designed to maximize the productivity of SHIPS applications, is scheduled for Feb. 10-11.

    The conference will offer informational sessions and industry best practices as well as product updates. Attendees of three or more sessions will receive a free conference give-away and a reduce rate to attend next year’s on-site user conference.

    Dave Osiecki, American Trucking Assn.’s vp of safety, security & operations, will deliver the keynote speech at the luncheon on Wednesday, Feb. 10, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. His address will cover the new CSA 2010 regulations.

    A Logistics Management Solution session will help carriers learn how to streamline their management processes by going paperless, including qualifications, on-boarding initial documents, performance and management and rate confirmation management processes.

    Other sessions will address driver recruiting and qualification processes, billing and accounts payable, billing accuracy, load tendering, tolls reconciliation, system architecture and workflow processes.
