Rebate offered to OOIDA members buying new sleepers
Kenworth Truck Co. is once again offering a rebate to members of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Assn. (OOIDA) on the purchase of a qualifying sleeper tractor.
The program, which was first introduced 10 years ago, offers a $1,000 rebate to OOIDA members purchasing a Kenworth T660, T800 and W900 with 72-in. AeroCab or 86-in. Studio AeroCab sleeper, and the T700 with 75-inch Aerodyne sleeper.
The rebate program is being offered through 2012.
“Kenworth is pleased to offer owner-operators a $1,000 rebate on qualifying new Kenworth truck purchases in cooperation with OOIDA during 2012,” said Erik Johnson, Kenworth on-highway marketing manager.
According to Johnson, more than 350 OOIDA members took advantage of the program in 2011.
