Isuzu names Igeta president

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) has appointed Kazuya "Ike" Igeta president

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America (ICTA) has appointed Kazuya "Ike" Igeta president after Makoto "Mak" Kawahara announced he will return to Japan to assume the role of assistant director responsible for global business planning for parent firm Isuzu Motors Limited.

Igeta, who has been with ICTA since 2007, previously was executive vp of manufacturer relations and business planning. Prior to joining ICTA, Igeta was gm of North America Operations at Isuzu Motors Limited in Japan.

In addition, the company announced that Yoshifumi Komura will assume the post of president of Isuzu North America Corp., overseeing all U.S. Isuzu operations. Komura was formerly division executive, international sales division No.1 for Isuzu Motors Limited.
