Mercedes-Benz USA, the new distributor for the Sprinter van, has announced a 6% price drop for all three models of the 2010 light truck, which is now being sold under the Mercedes Benz and Freightliner brand names.

The 2010 lineup has three models - a cargo van, passenger van and a cab chassis. Power for all three is provided by MB’s 3.0L BlueTEC diesel engine, which uses selective catalytic reduction (SCR technology to meet 2010 federal emissions requirements.

MB-USA has announced that suggested retail pricing for the Sprinter cargo van now starts at $35,995, while the cab chassis begins at $34,270, and pricing for the passenger van begins at $39,820. All prices exclude $980 destination charges.
