Central Freight Lines earns safety award

Central Freight Lines, a less-than-truckload (LTL) for-hire carrier, was award a First Place Safety Award from the Texas Motor Transportation Assn. (TMTA) for achieving the highest safety standards in the state of Texas.

Central, based in Waco, TX, earned the honor in the LTL/P&D division.

“Safety is a high concern for the entire company and each one of our employees plays a role in this mission,” said Don Orr, president & CEO of Central Freight Lines. “We are very proud of our Texas-based drivers for this stellar achievement.”

It is the second year in a row that Central has earned the top safety spot in the LTL/P&D division.
