Vipar Heavy Duty will open parts distribution centers in key locations in the eastern and western parts of the United States

Vipar Heavy Duty will open parts distribution centers in key locations in the eastern and western parts of the United States that will feature warehousing operations, cross docking opportunities and brake shoe remanufacturing, the company has announced. The centers will become operational in the fourth quarter of 2008.

The new business will be part of Global Parts Network, LLC, an independent company that provides exclusive service support to Vipar’s distribution and supplier network.

“These new operations will enable our distributors to remain competitive with a consistent supply line,” said Steve Crowley, president & CEO, Vipar Heavy Duty. “With the support of key suppliers, we believe this new initiative will be well received in the marketplace and allow us to best serve the needs of our distributors and their customers.”
