Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations names head of marketing for commercial tire division

Matthew Stevenson has been named vice president of marketing for the commercial tire division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

Stevenson was most recently general manager of North American Field Operations and Marketing for Meritor. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Daimler Trucks North America, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and marketing. Additionally, Matthew also held the position of COO for Daimler’s Mitsubishi Fuso division.

“Matthew brings extensive experience building strong relationships with customers in the commercial vehicle industry,” said Philip Dobbs, CMO for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations-North America. “I am excited to have him on board to help us elevate awareness of the needs of our customers, and help us in meeting those needs. He will be a valuable addition to our team.”
