• PeopleNet now has 29 Certified Transportation Professionals on staff

    May 11, 2013

Four more PeopleNet employees recently became Certified Transportation Professionals (CTPs), bringing the company’s total to 29. The newest graduates officially received their certification at the  National Private Truck Council (NPTC) Education Management Conference and Exhibition.

PeopleNet senior vice president of operations, Rick Ochsendorf said, “We congratulate this special group that now is part of an exceptionally knowledgeable community of trucking professionals who have a better understanding of our customers’ needs. Having the most CTPs in the industry ensures a large pool of PeopleNet experts in matters pertaining to private fleets.”

The four new PeopleNet CTPs are: Bryan Coyne, national account manager; Trent Gilles, project manager, professional services; Scott Stenberg, customer project manager; and Kerri Tabor, director, integration services.

The CTP program is sponsored by the NPTC Institute, which provides training and certification programs that advance the professional skills and knowledge of all NPTC members. In order to maintain their designation, CTPs are required to support the program through continuing education and volunteer activities, such as attending and speaking at seminars and grading exams.
