New touchscreen rugged computer for portable work environments

Sept. 13, 2013

Glacier Computer has added a new 7 in. touchscreen rugged computer ideal for portable work environments.

The T707 comes standard with Windows 7 operating system and a display that can be used outdoors. It is completely sealed to prevent dust and particulates from entering and can withstand a water bombardment of 12.5 liters per minute from a nozzle, Glacier said. The unit is also designed to be dropped from 6 ft.

The T707, which joins a line of rugged 7 in., 8 in., and 10 in. computers, is covered by the company’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell warranty program.
