FTR has launched a new website that it said reflects its identity as a thought leader in transportation forecasting.
The site, available at FTRintel.com, is another part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to the trucking industry. The company, which was previously called FTR Associates, also has a new tagline, “transportation intelligence.”
“The changes we are making to our website, identity, and added content have been driven by what we heard during more than forty interviews held with our subscribers,” said Eric Starks, president of FTR. “We wanted their input so we were sure the improvements met their needs as well as fully representing our company to the market.”
The website provides advanced subscriber interface with improved navigation and functionality throughout, allowing visitors easy access to FTR’s services, sample reports, news and more.
FTR’s range of freight and equipment focused reports and databases can be explored via a new subscription catalogue. The updated subscription management system area gives current subscribers a greater ability to manage their accounts, add users, and access their content, including On-Demand State of Freight videos.
Additional modifications FTR is making in 2014 include content enhancements to current reports as well as increased commentary for the industry.
FTR’s Truck and Trailer Outlook service has expanded trailer data and analysis to assist subscribers in understanding and forecasting this segment of the industry. Transportation Fundamentals, authored by Noel Perry, has been repurposed as State of Freight INSIGHTS; and FTR’s State of Freight webinar series will now be held monthly, each covering current trends in a specific mode of transportation as requested by current subscribers.
A new publication, State of Freight TODAY, will provide additional commentary on current events and trends within the industry.
