• Roadrunner expands service in Western U.S.

    June 15, 2015
Roadrunner Transportation Systems announced the expansion of less-than-truckload freight service in the Phoenix and Salt Lake City metropolitan areas. Outbound service will begin on June 15 from Phoenix and July 20 from Salt Lake City, the company said. The Phoenix and Salt Lake City service centers will focus on service to Southern California, the Great Lakes, Tennessee, Texas and the Southeastern United States. “We are excited to strengthen our ability to service the western regions of the U.S. Our customer base has expressed the need for service in Phoenix and Salt Lake City, and new partnerships in these regions will allow Roadrunner to provide outstanding service in these key metro areas,” said Grant Crawford, president of Less-than-Truckload. “The Phoenix presence will also allow us to provide added service levels to the Mexico market.”
