Operation “Roadcheck,” sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), is an annual undertaking that dispatches 10,000 federal, state, provincial and local inspectors to more than 1,500 locations over a 72-hour period across the U.S. Canada, and Mexico to conduct comprehensive North American Standard Level I Inspections. The group held a special "kick off" event for Roadcheck 2010 at the FedEx Field football stadium June 8 in Landover MD in conjunction with the Maryland State Police.
