• Scenes from Schneider's 6th annual intermodal rodeo

    Sept. 25, 2015

Trucking conglomerate Schneider held its 6th annual Intermodal Safety Rodeo at its headquarters in Green Bay, WI, in September this year. The three-maneuver course, which took about 15 minutes to complete, tested the abilities of Schneider drivers in blind-side backing and tight parking situations. The carrier noted its intermodal drivers often execute short-haul deliveries, normally referred to as “drayage,” in congested urban areas. This work, which Big Orange's annual Intermodal Rodeo is designed to test, requires keen skills behind the wheel as well as a commitment to safety. (Photos courtesy of Schneider.)
