Illinois Gov George Ryan recently honored Navistar International Corp's Melrose Park IL plant with the 1999 Governor's Pollution Prevention Award in the continuous improvement category. The Melrose Park plant produces the International 530E and DT 466E diesel engines. This is the sixth time the plant has won the award.
