Through its Circle K Stores Inc subsidiary, Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc has agreed to purchase 236 sites from Shell Oil Products US and its affiliate Motiva Enterprises LLC. Subject to standard regulatory approvals and closing conditions, this transaction likely will close before the end of 2006.
These 236 sites operate under the Shell banner and are in Denver CO (71), Tampa FL (53), southwest Florida (46), Orlando FL (28), Baton Rouge LA (22), and greater Memphis TN (16). The firm plans to invest about $45 million in the sites over the next five years.
