Total Logistics secures multi-year contract

Total Logistics Inc’s subsidiary, Total Logistic Control (TLC), has been awarded a multi-year contract to supply deli products to more than 150 store locations for a large retail merchandise chain.

Total Logistics Inc’s subsidiary, Total Logistic Control (TLC), has been awarded a multi-year contract to supply deli products to more than 150 store locations for a large retail merchandise chain.

Under terms of this new agreement, TLC will procure frozen, refrigerated, and dry deli and bakery products based on daily orders sent from each retail outlet. TLC will inventory and warehouse these items and build store-ready custom pallets, which will be cross-docked and delivered to store locations. This operation begins in August 2004 and uses one of TLC’s multi-temperature warehouse facilities in Kalamazoo MI. It will operate 24 hours a day, five days a week.
