Newport-St Paul Cold Storage has chosen Headwater Technology’s Delfour SmartEnterprise 2 software as its logistics management and fulfillment system. With implementation underway, the family-owned public refrigerated warehouse company says the new system should be up and working in January 2006.

Currently operating 4 million cubic feet of freezer, refrigeration, and dry storage space, Newport-St Paul Cold Storage handles more than 100 food industry clients in the upper Midwest. SmartEnterprise 2 replaces a mostly manual, custom-programmed legacy system. The new software consists of an Enterprise Foundation integration layer, Headwater’s RF Foundation, WarehouseLogic 2.6 logistics management software, Active Desktop GUI-based single point access and control module, radio frequency module, d’Amigo alert management and reporting tool, and Boomi EDI module.
