    Marten Transport has reported $70.8 million revenue for its third quarter, up 8.4% from the same quarter in 2000. Earnings were 38 cents per share, down from 41 cents per share in 2000. The third quarter operating ratio rose to 94.8 from 93.4 in 2000. Revenue for the first nine months of 2001 was $212.4 million, up 11.6% from $190.4 million for the same period of 2000. Net income was $1.23 per share, down from $1.37 per share for the same nine months of 2000.
