Founded 80 years ago by Chester R England, the refrigerated transportation company C R England recently celebrated a two-day, 80th-anniversary gala in Salt Lake City UT.

The event's theme was, "C R England, Values-Driven-Then, Now, and Always." More than 600 drivers and employees were greeted by company leaders Gene, Bill, Dan, and Dean England-Chester's sons and grandsons who have helped build the family-owned company over the decades.

Employees signed a banner that featured a collage of historical company photos. They also competed in a Chester England look-alike contest; viewed a commemorative video detailing the past 80 years of growth; and heard from company leaders. The company unveiled a newly redesigned newsletter, The Roundtable, and outlined events that will underscore the company theme throughout the next year.
