Rich Products Corp is planning to expand its manufacturing plant in Arlington TN. It will hire about 130 new workers and build a new 120,000-square-foot frozen food warehouse center on the property.

The firm’s present manufacturing facility in Arlington will also receive new processing and packaging equipment, and capacity will be added for non-dairy production. Rich Products will invest about $40 million in the Arlington operation.

The new frozen food warehouse will be constructed on eight acres that Rich purchased, bringing its land total to about 23 acres.

Construction has begun, and according to plant general manager Bob Kmetz, all lines should be operating by year-end 2005.
