Gunite Corp has opened a new Midwest distribution center at Bristol IN near its Elkhart IN manufacturing facilities.

James D Cirar, president and chief executive officer of Gunite, said, “This move will allow us to streamline our overall operation by eliminating the excessive shipping we now experience under our current operation. Our current process requires us to ship our raw castings from Rockford (IL) to our Elkhart facility for machining and then back to Rockford for inventory and shipment.”

The Gunite foundry will continue to operate at the Rockford location as an integral part of the TTI foundry group.
