YoCream International Inc, a producer and wholesaler of frozen desserts and smoothies, reported financial results for the second quarter and six months ended April 30, 2004.

Second quarter net income increased 21.2% to $168,200 from $138,700 in the second quarter of 2003. For the six months ended April 30, 2004, net income rose 6.9% to $159,700 from $149,400 in the same period a year ago.

Sales for the second quarter totaled $4,856,000, compared with $4,995,000 in the second quarter of 2003. For the six months ended April 30, 2004, sales were $8,306,000, versus $8,864,000 in the same period a year earlier.
