Phoenix AZ-based Shamrock Foods Co plans to construct a 180,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Albuquerque NM.

The privately owned firm says this new facility, expected to be operational in mid-2007, should create 100-plus jobs for the Albuquerque region.

From distribution centers in Phoenix and Denver CO, Shamrock offers refrigerated transportation of frozen foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, and foodservice supplies to nine Southwest states.
