M W Supply Inc a manufacturer of cargo control products, has acquired two companies that have provided trailer access equipment (platforms, ladders, and aluminum walk ramps) to the foodservice industry for 25 years and 15 years, respectively.

The first company purchased was Brownsword Manufacturing. Tony Brownsword, founder, has designed and built specialty platforms and storage boxes for companies such as Martin Brower since 1978. These platform designs let drivers unload product safely in narrow delivery areas while providing a standing area at the threshold of side doors. Brownsword has also manufactured portable aluminum steps that create a small platform economically. These products, along with conveyor stands, specialty load bars, and storage boxes round out the Brownsword line of products.

In August 2002, M W Supply purchased the Weather Walker walk ramp design from Robert Hall of Lakewood CO. This design consists of a true open-grate ramp completely constructed of extruded aluminum. For 15 years, this ramp design has had no claims or reported injuries. The ramp's walk surface is industrially engineered to allow snow, rain, and sleet to pass through without adhering to the tread.
