    The Kenworth White Paper on Powertrain Spec'ing provides information to assist fleets and owner-operators make decisions involving powertrain selections for Class 8 trucks.

    This white paper was developed to provide information and recommendations on the new generation of heavy-duty engines, transmissions, cooling systems, and related technology. It features sections on Cummins engines, Caterpillar engines, engine cooling systems, spec'ing considerations for powertrain lubricants, automated and manual transmissions, axles and drivelines, and suspensions and traction control options.

    The publication will be provided for download at www.kenworth.com under “Learn How To Spec Your Powertrain Effectively” and also is available in printed form upon request from Kenworth dealers.
