GNB Industrial Power, a division of Exide Technologies, will add a high-power, tubular plate technology battery to its line of flooded, industrial lift truck batteries. The technology enables batteries to deliver a larger amount of consistent, reliable power.

The battery is designed for use with popular electric lift truck models in Class I (sitdown, counterbalanced); Class II (narrow aisle); and Class III (walkie pallet).

Initially, GNB will produce batteries in 36- and 48-volt sizes and in 100 and 140 AHr/plate ratings. These tubular products will have bolt-on inter-cell connections for easier service should cell replacements be required. No open-flame welding is required. For more information, contact GNB, 829 Parkview Blvd, Lombard IL 60148-3249.
