• Distributors renew Chevron contracts

    McLane Co Inc and Wallace & Carey Inc, an independent Canadian distributor, have signed new agreements to serve Chevron-owned and -operated convenience stores and potential franchise locations.

    McLane Co Inc and Wallace & Carey Inc, an independent Canadian distributor, have signed new agreements to serve Chevron-owned and -operated convenience stores and potential franchise locations in the United States and commission agents in Canada.

    Under the agreements, which extend into 2008 with the option to continue, McLane will distribute grocery products to about 450 convenience stores at Chevron stations in the United States. Wallace & Carey will distribute to 152 locations in Canada.

    Headquartered in Temple TX, McLane operates 19 grocery distribution divisions and 18 foodservice distribution centers.

    A family-owned business, Wallace & Carey runs seven distribution centers in Canada.
