Wholey International, a division of Robert Wholey & Co, has signed a long-term supply agreement with the Pacific Seafood Group of Portland OR. The agreement with the West Coast seafood-processing company increases Wholey's ability to supply Wholey Whiting, its most popular product.

Wholey Whiting has become increasingly popular in recent years because it is inexpensive and can be used in various recipes. In addition to signing the joint venture agreement, Wholey International has kept up with the demand through its own whiting processing facility in Ucluelet, British Columbia, Canada, which opened in 2000. The fish are coming in strong this year, bringing a consistent supply.

The agreement with Pacific Seafood Group will also increase Wholey's supply of other West Coast species, such as flounder and rockfish.
