Johnson Refrigerated Truck Bodies received Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) approval on the first shipment of 37 fiberglass refrigerated truck bodies. The entire order for 195 fiberglass refrigerated truck bodies was awarded by Navistar Defense.

The award increases the company's sales of military fiberglass refrigerated truck bodies, which will be mounted on Navistar Defense's Medium Tactical Vehicles.

“Johnson's track record for providing quality truck bodies, our ability to meet Navistar Defense's specifications, and our long-standing relationship with Navistar made us the vendor of choice for this contract,” said Mayo Rude, director of sales and marketing at Johnson.

Deliveries began in December 2008 and will be completed in May 2009. All of the truck bodies are 15-foot insulated fiberglass refrigerated truck bodies within Johnson's Premier Truck Body line.
