The restaurant chain Moe's Southwest Grill has contracted with foodservice marketer and distributor Sysco Food Services to consolidate its United States food purchasing and distribution program. The partnership improves and streamlines Moe's Southwest Grill's supply chain as the firm transitions from a regional chain to a national presence.

New purchasing and distribution programs are centrally managed and supported, allowing Moe's Southwest Grill to order, report, track, and control inventory with a secure, real-time Internet system. Company executives worked with franchisees to align with Sysco for greater purchasing power.

Atlanta GA-based Moe's Southwest was founded in December 2000 and has 800 franchise units signed and more than 340 operating in 38 states.
