Americold has announced the grand opening of a new temperature-controlled storage facility in Delhi LA.

Americold has announced the grand opening of a new temperature-controlled storage facility in Delhi LA. This ultra-modern, energy-efficient facility provides more than 4.7 million cubic feet of convertible temperature-controlled storage space dedicated to the support of the adjacent ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston sweet potato processing facility. The new facility is at 75 Highway 609.

The grand opening ceremony, set for March 4, 2011, will be attended by Americold and Lamb Weston senior executives. This event will include guest speakers, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a luncheon.

“The Delhi facility is symbolic of our partnership with Lamb Weston and our commitment to achieving mutually beneficial relationships with our customers that meet the needs of their growing businesses,” said Jos Opdeweegh, chief executive officer of Americold. “Both organizations worked around the clock to achieve shared goals for this new state-of-the-art temperature-controlled storage facility.”
