The TruckLabor module in Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries truck repair information software now is available in the Decisiv Marketplace.

Decisiv began integrating TruckSeries repair software into its marketplace in 2019. Now, with the added availability of the TruckLabor module, connected Decisiv Marketplace participants can seamlessly launch the labor estimating tool directly from any SRM active repair job.

The Decisiv Service Relationship Management (SRM) platform enhances how the service supply chain for commercial assets communicates and collaborates. By activating a TruckLabor module subscription, connected participants in the Decisiv SRM ecosystem can gain immediate access to an active link that enables them to launch it directly from any case, access the TruckLabor module, create an operation and import all of the details into the Decisiv SRM platform.

TruckLabor helps service professionals efficiently estimate accurate commercial truck repair times so their customers know when to expect the repair to be completed and the vehicle returned to service. TruckLabor can also help shops analyze technician performance to help identify areas that can be improved to better improve shop performance.

“Knowing how long a repair is likely to take is critical to a commercial vehicle operator,” said Kristy LaPage, business manager of Mitchell 1 commercial vehicle group. “Using TruckLabor enhances the relationship between a service provider and its customer because they can reliably tell the customer how long to expect their vehicle to be out of service.

“We’re pleased Decisiv has made access to the program available to their Marketplace customers.”

With the integration, users of Decisiv SRM can take advantage of the latest feature in TruckLabor, quick access to Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS). Repair facilities using the Quotes module will be able to easily map labor jobs to VMRS codes, giving the vehicle owner a clear and consistent record of repairs and overall costs for each truck in operation. VMRS codes display automatically, eliminating the complex process of manually looking up the appropriate VMRS code for work in progress.

“The easy availability to Mitchell 1’s TruckLabor module through Decisiv SRM provides another level of collaboration that directly contributes to further streamlining the service process,” said Michael Gibson, vice president for strategic partners at Decisiv. “It allows connected participants to seamlessly transition between SRM and TruckLabor to improve service workflow and event efficiency. We’re pleased to be able to offer the Mitchell 1 solution to our service providers and fleet customers in the Decisiv Marketplace.”

Mitchell 1 TruckSeries is the only comprehensive truck repair information software suite of its kind available for Class 4-8 trucks, providing a one-stop, single log-in, all-makes data resource for mechanical labor estimating, diagnostic trouble code procedures and comprehensive repair information, all packaged into a single application. TruckSeries is integrated with Manager SE Truck Edition, Mitchell 1’s truck shop management software that delivers an end-to-end solution for every step of the repair process.
