RealCold acquires SCL Cold Chain to expand pharmaceutical cold chain logistics capabilities

RealCold recently acquired SCL Cold Chain, which provides cold chain logistics solutions and specializes in temperature-controlled services for sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, wine, and boutique foods.
SCL Cold Chain brings pharmaceutical cold chain expertise, including continuous temperature monitoring, FDA-registered facilities, and end-to-end cold chain custody capabilities. The company also operates CEIV Pharma-certified services, along with an FDA-registered and bonded CFS facility.
RealCold said the acquisition expands its cold chain network and adds chain-of-custody logistics capabilities. The combined platform is designed to support pharmaceutical manufacturers requiring compliant, temperature-controlled logistics services across the U.S.
SCL Cold Chain will continue operating under its existing corporate identity as part of RealCold.
