Great Dane recently highlighted the performance benefits of its ThermoGuard trailer liner used in Everest refrigerated trailers. The company, which produces dry and refrigerated trailers for commercial fleets, designed ThermoGuard with a proprietary barrier layer that prevents moisture from entering insulation.
ThermoGuard is integrated into both single- and multi-temperature Everest models and is intended to maintain dry insulation for consistent thermal performance over time. By preventing moisture intrusion, the system helps reduce strain on the transport refrigeration unit (TRU).

“We chose Great Dane because of the quality of their products,” said Jeff Arens, VP for Schuster Company. “Many people don’t know this, but Le Mars, Iowa, is the Ice Cream Capital of the World, and ice cream distribution is our niche business. Because of that, when we customized our Great Dane reefers, we equipped them with ThermoGuard liners, knowing they would hold the right temperature better than anything else out there.”
