At its spring driver’s meeting in April 2012, Timon Perron Trucking of Campbellsport WI celebrated receiving its seventh Large Carrier Of The Year Award from Sargento Cheese.
Perron Trucking employees were given jackets that displayed all the years of recognition on them: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011.
Each year, Sargento Cheese recognizes a carrier based on these five areas: on-time delivery, equipment, claims/fines, communication, and miscellaneous.
Perron Trucking has been hauling for Sargento Cheese since 1990 and became a Core Carrier in 2000. In 2011, Perron Trucking hauled 18.4 million pounds of cheese, made 2,144 total deliveries for Sargento Cheese, and finished with a score of 97.8%.
