    Performance Food Group Company (PFG) announced results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended Dec. 29, 2007.

    The food distributor's consolidated net sales in the fourth quarter were approximately $1.6 billion, an increase of 10.3% compared with the prior year's fourth quarter.

    Net earnings from continuing operations in the fourth quarter amounted to about $15.1 million.

    For the full year 2007, consolidated net sales totaled roughly $6.3 billion, a gain of 8.2% from the prior year period.

    Net earnings from continuing operations for the full year rose 19.2% to approximately $51.1 million, versus about $42.9 million a year ago.
