C R England, a Salt Lake City UT-based global transportation provider, conducted its inaugural shipment through its new Texas Regional service offering October 1.

The C R England Texas Regional service offering will add approximately 75 new driving jobs and provide a network designed to meet the demands of larger volumes that move into and out of Mexico and throughout the Texas area.

“We are pleased to provide this new regionalized service offering. We feel this operation will be a win-win for the foundation of our organization, our valued customer, and driver base,” said Brandon Harrison, president of C R England National and Regional. “The combination of a strong Texas driver domicile base and the need for a premium regional service in this market makes this a valuable and efficient transportation source.”

The Texas Regional network has two strategically placed hubs in Laredo and Dallas TX. Services include direct, through-trailer service into and out of Mexico, additional capacity, and lane density in the state and surrounding areas and expedited transit times.

“Mexico is Texas’ leading international trade partner, and the inland port at Laredo, Texas is the number one destination for Mexico trade,” said Dave Akers, president of C R England Mexico. “Our Texas Regional service will enhance the level of coverage and efficiency of the international service that we provide to our valued customers.”

Founded in 1920, C R England is one of North America’s largest transportation companies and a leading temperature-controlled carrier worldwide. Its services include national, Mexico, and regional truckload service in addition to dedicated and intermodal services.
