Cadec Global has introduced a new version of DeliveryTracker, a configurable mobile application that extends a company's supply chain to the point of delivery. DeliveryTracker 2.0 is an optional software component to Cadec's fleet management systems. Its capabilities include:

  • Bar-code scanning
  • Full-detail invoice/manifest
  • Payment/credit handling
  • Electronic signature capture
  • In-cab printing

DeliveryTracker enables fleets to collect data using a range of handheld devices, including those from Honeywell/Handheld Products, Intermec, and Motorola/Symbol. Data is conveyed as an XML file from the handheld to the Cadec On-Board Computer (OBC), and then relayed via wi-fi or cellular network back to the fleet's central office, where it can be integrated with applications such as Supply Chain Management (SCM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
