FourKites announced several new integrated enhancements for visibility and orchestration within JDA Transportation Management from JDA Software Group Inc.

Leveraging FourKites, JDA customers receive a robust transportation solution that addresses all loads and supports carrier connectivity, efficient on-boarding and real-time access to viewing the entire the supply chain.

“We strive to make the customer journey as seamless as possible and believe visibility and orchestration are key components of that,” said Fabrizio Brasca, vice-president, solution strategy, Intelligent Fulfillment at JDA. “Utilizing FourKites’ ability to provide real-time, continuous location tracking, predictive analytics, interactive mapping and other features will allow JDA to continue to deliver unmatched transportation planning and execution capabilities for our customers.”

FourKites now provides comprehensive visibility capabilities—integrating truckload, less-than-truckload (LTL), rail, parcel and ocean (available in Q3 2017). For LTL tracking, FourKites and SMC3 joined forces to create a single integration point for all LTL carriers to provide granular visibility information across all legs of the shipment.

Also completed by FourKites is full integration of HERE Maps, providing truck-specific routing and mapping that is now required for leading shippers and 3PLs. It further enhances accuracy with hazmat, 53-foot trailer and height/weight restrictions.
