Hyundai Translead recently donated a 53-ft. refrigerated trailer to the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank. This contribution is expected to enhance the food bank’s ability to distribute fresh and perishable food items to families and communities in need across San Diego County.

“We are incredibly grateful to Hyundai Translead for their generous donation of a 53-ft. refrigerated trailer, which will enhance our ability to deliver fresh produce and perishable food to communities in need across San Diego County,” Casey Castillo, CEO of the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank, said in a news release. “Their support helps us ensure that nutritious, chilled food reaches families who need it most, and we are proud to partner with such a community-minded organization.”

To commemorate the occasion, Hyundai Translead hosted the food bank team for a guided tour of its headquarters, followed by a formal trailer donation ceremony. The trailer will be used to transport perishable goods from the food bank’s Miramar warehouse to distribution sites throughout the region.

“We are honored to support the San Diego Food Bank in their vital work to fight hunger and uplift our community,” Hyundai Translead CEO Sean Kenney said. “We believe in building strong connections, not just through transportation, but through meaningful relationships that help strengthen and sustain the communities we serve.”
