Yale Materials Handling Corporation has launched its new GC050LX cushion tire and GP050LX pneumatic tire internal combustion lift trucks. With a lift capacity of 5,000 lbs, both models provide a balance of efficiency, productivity, dependability, and durability for a variety of moderate-duty materials handling applications.

The cost-effective GC/GP050LX lift trucks have taken the best things about the heavier-duty Yale Veracitor trucks—smart design, solid construction, durability, and reliable performance—and adapted them for use in moderate-duty working conditions. From its hydraulic and electrical system components to its transmission, the GC/GP050LX provides users with a simple, cost-effective lift truck.

“A ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach is not always the best solution,” said J B Mayes, manager, product strategy–internal combustion for NACCO Materials Handling Group Inc. “We’ve optimized the components of the GC/GP050LX to suit moderate-duty applications, giving you heavy-duty construction where you need it—and simplicity everywhere else.”

These streamlined, easy-to-operate trucks feature good fuel economy and ergonomics. Both the GC050LX and the GP050LX are agile and maneuverable. With an electronically controlled Powershift transmission for smooth direction changes, moving around in tight spaces is easy. The optional integral side shifter allows loads to be optimally positioned, and the responsive, electronically controlled inching adjustments give operators better control of their load positioning. A human-friendly design makes operator comfort and adjustability a top priority and includes extra foot space, an adjustable tilting steer column, and increased visibility.
